Tasty Tuesday: Easy Orange Julius

Last Tuesday I shared my Strawberry Smoothie Recipe. Today I want to share my Orange Julius Recipe - because this one has become a summer staple in our home. This is my mom's recipe from when I was a child - so it's tried and true!

Orange Julius Ingredients:
6oz can of frozen OJ concentrate (I use a 12oz can and make 2 batches)
1 cup water
1 cup cold milk (optional - in the pictures below the milk was omitted)
1/2 sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
10-12 ice cubes
Enjoy! I am participating in Tempt Your Tummy Tuesday, Dining With Debbie , Balancing Beauty and Bedlam and Tuesdays at the Table recipe exchanges. For more blogger recipes go to these links.

My husband loves these, but I have never made one at home. Maybe I will surprise him with one ready when he gets home tonight!

Oh this sounds so good - what a shame I can't get frozen orange juice concentrate in England!! I'll have to have a play with the recipe and see if I can adapt it - it's a fantastic starting point though so thank you so much for sharing it!

I love this! In our spanish culture, we call this a "Morir Sonando" which translated means, "Die Dreaming" That's how good we think it is!

I'll be making this for my kids very soon and we love it with the milk!

Here's a recipe that makes it the way I was raised drinking it.
