Check Out This HUGE Good Morning Girls Group!

This post is one of my favorite posts of the year! It is fulfilling for me to see women Walking with the King . My heart's passion is to see you, my reader, walking with the King of Kings in your own daily life as he transforms you into an amazing Godly woman.

Let me share with you pictures of the largest Good Morning Girls group yet! This group is all from the same church in Bellwether, MS and they have 43 women in their group (Linda Tate their pastors wife has divided the groups accordingly)! You ladies are beautiful and radiate the love of Jesus from the inside out!

If you are new to Women Living Well - you maybe asking "what in the world is a Good Morning Girls Group?"

The short definition is: The "Good Morning Girls" is a title for a group of women who use email to keep each other accountable for their quiet times. Each weekday morning they email each other to say "Good Morning" and to share what they read during their quiet time with the Lord.

There are now nearly 50 groups with 350+ Good Morning Girls - Wow! They are located in OH, WA, VA, TX, MN, SC, AL IL, ID, KY, GA, IN, MD, CA, OR, MS, MI, Australia, Africa and Taiwan (if I missed your state or country please add it in the comment section!).

The winter session began January 15th and today, April 15th the winter session comes to an end. So if you are in a group - please take a week or two off and reassess your committments to your group. This break gives ladies who have decided this is not for them a chance to exit or vice versa - if you have a friend who wants to join your group - now's the time! Regroup, reorganize and recommit to walking with the King.

The sign-ups for the Spring/Summer session will begin May 1st and end May 15th (the 3 month session runs from May 15th - August 15th) and you will hear more about that soon. So during this time please be praying about who you will ask to join your group. For more information about Good Morning Girls go here.

Coming Soon - A Good Morning Girls website chuck full of resources just for you!!! I can't not wait to unveil it!!!!

I just continued my own spin on the Good Morning group. Several people at my church got wind that I was doing it, and they wanted to be added on (GUYS), MY PASTOR, teehee. So I just write a verse and what it means to me. It's a great discipline to make time for myself every morning. I found out that my nan forwards it onto unbelievers. God is truly amazing in the way he uses us.

Mrs. Olson,
Do what I did. Start your own group! I asked my facebook friends so no one would feel pressured if I asked in person. We have a group of four and all are people I probably wouldn't have approached otherwise. God knows who needs and would benefit from this!

Thanks for the great idea Courtney!

Your interest in accountability thrills me ladies!!! May 1st I will give you more details on how to get into a group - but for now be praying about who you can ask from your church or family to join you in your group.

If you absolutely cannot think of anyone or you ask and get turned down - there will be a place for all of the women who cannot find a group to connect and start groups together on-line.

So please stop by again May 1st for the details! Until then I'll be praying for you to find a local group if you can - if not - last time there were a lot of ladies who connected through the message board so we'll do that again this time!!!

Can't wait!

Oo I would love to do this. We are at cross road in our lives right now waiting to see where the Lord is going to place us in Ministry after Seminary next month. So hopefully you'll have this in the fall! It just gives me all summer to pray about the women!

I like the idea of doing this online through a message board! I work 4 days/week, so I know that I couldn't be checking in during the morning hours (it's enough to get to work on time let alone get on the computer before heading out), but I will be looking for this.

I have just started a bible study with a couple girls from church. We are reading "Crazy Love" and I already cannot believe how differently I am feeling. I have so much more hope and am seeing things more positively! GOD IS GOOD!

Hi Courtney! We just started a Good Morning Girls Group , two of us are in Tn and one in AK and one in MS.Several of the girls don't have regular fellowship where they are, so this has been a wonderful opportunity to connect with "Kindred Spirits". We are thinking about having a Retreat at some point to all meet. Thanks for the idea!!!God has already blessed us and this is only the first week!!

The Good Morning Group sounds fun! I would love to try it in May. Perhaps it's just what I need to get in the daily devotion habit I long for. Thanks for organizing this. I will add Colorado to your list of pareticipating states!
