So true-and what a clear, applicable illustration. A friend and I were discussing how sad it is to see marriages crumbling around us. She emailed to me the following from a message she heard: "Most people believe that marriage is about us and our happiness. ...the point was made that the purpose of marriage is to demonstrate the relationship between Christ and the church. I mean, we all know that, but we still think it is about us. Helloooo...that is the only reason we even HAVE marriage here on earth, and it will not even exist in heaven because it will no longer be necessary. It is all so true-may we all "trace" the ways of Christ more in our marriages today! Thanks for your blog! -Holly
Great comments. I especially liked how you said that the primary purpose of a good marriage is not just to be "good" but to show others Christ in us. Thanks for the encouragement.
i just found your site today and i am so happy! I sometimes feel very much alone in my desire to be submissive and serve my hubby.. thanks for the positive influence!
I LOVE hearing from my readers and I pray for you all regularly. I try to respond to questions in the comment section as quickly as I can - within 1-3 days.
Due to an overflowing email inbox and the desire to keep my husband, children and home first priority in my life, I am no longer able to answer personal emails at this time. I apologize.
Fantastic Video! I agree with everything you said and found encouragement in it! Thank you! :)
