The Taping of the Rachael Ray Show is Over!

The taping of the Rachael Ray Show is complete and now it's in the hands of the editors! They asked that I not share details of the show taping or pictures from their studio until AFTER it has aired. So let me give you some information straight from their website about the segment and airing times.

Their website says it will air this Friday, November 6th. And if you follow this website link you will see a picture that their camera crew took of me serving the family dinner! The segment title is "Real Life Mad Men Marriages" and here is how they describe the segment:

"From getting dinner on the table every night to sex whenever the husband wants it, meet a group of wives who seem like a flashback to the '50s ... but could they have the key to a successful marriage?"

I was unaware of what "Mad Men" referred to - but I learned that there is a show on cable that is set in the 60's. The men are successful Madison Avenue business men and the women are their support.

Some of you from out of the country have emailed me to ask how to see the show. On the Rachael Ray website every segment is archived. So you will be able to see the show from their website after it has aired at http://www.rachaelrayshow.com/

To find out what time the show airs in your city and state follow this link.

The Producer and Producer Assistants at the show were all extremely gracious and friendly. They were very casual and they really put us at ease. Rachael was very easy to "chat" with on set - and I felt the prayers of you all! Thank you all so much for your support. I feel blessed!!!

One last thing...there is a spot to "chat" about the segment on their site...feel free to head over there and voice your thoughts about the topic of marriage - I am sure they'd like to hear from you all!

Walk with the King!

Congratulations! That's awesome! I was featured on CNN recently, and it was a similar out-of-the-blue email. God definitely has a plan for these things!

Congrats, Courtney. That is so exciting. I'm going to have to try to catch the show. I always wondered if Rachael Ray was as bubbly and kind as she seems on tv.

I'm looking forward to watching it this Friday. Maybe you can do the Oprah show next, and I can be in the audience! I'm sure what you say will make many women think about their priorities.

Hello Courtney,

I watched your segment on the Rachael Ray show the other day. It was nice to see a couple with more traditional values. Not to say it's uncommon; just that it not publicized widely. Unfortunately, madness and mayhem keep up ratings.

I have a couple questions for you. You mentioned taking care of the kids and house - but who does the bills, finances, yard work, and takes care of the vehicles.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. I really appreciate your insight. Not sure how this works so here is my email if needed.

Thank you,
Lori

Lori - my husband does the list you gave - finances, yard, cars. He didn't get as much credit on the show for all he does as I would have liked :-) He's a good man! Courtney
