All of our kids will be home - so this is the perfect time for us to be encouraged, inspired and challenged through a Summer Book Club on Motherhood!
Angela (my partner over at GoodMorningGirls.org - who lives in Texas) and I are so excited to share the details with you here:
Starting May 23rd on GoodMorningGirls.org, Angela and I will be leading this book club(you do not have to be a Good Morning Girl to join us).
We have exclusive videos from Sally Clarkson that we will be playing every Monday for you to view for free. On Wednesdays, we will have guest bloggers writing about what they learned from that week's reading and on Fridays, Angela and I will record our skyped discussion using Sally Clarkson's discussion questions.
To learn more about the book club and to enter to win this book - go to GoodMorningGirls.org (do not enter here.) (You can purchase the book at Amazon here for $10.19 or less if you choose a used book).
I'd love to know who is joining us! So feel free to leave a comment and let me know if you are in!

Excellent, I'm on board! I love books. I just heard about this book. I wanted to read it anyways and I think it will be marvelous to do this together.
ReplyDeleteThanks for planning such an inspiring way to start the summer. I look forward to the journey.
Just what I was looking for; can't wait to start!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in! I read this book once, and from what I remember, it's one you read over and over again!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I'm intrigued! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm really tempted...! I just don't trust myself over the summer to stick with a plan :(
ReplyDeleteSo, to do or not to do.... that is the question.
Also, I went to the Good morning Girls' site but the link to watch the videos doesn't seem to work.
I've tried the link again, and it does work! Sorry x

I'm in! I LOVE that book!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to follow along and read this book with a great group of women! Yay!!
ReplyDeleteHi Courtney,
ReplyDeleteCount me in! I am so excited about this study. Interestingly enough, I was thinking of reading this book this summer, but was just curious on your thoughts as to why the "Ministry" book was chosen for this summer instead of the "Mission of Motherhood"? I have heard both books are wonderful and will probably end up reading both at some point. I am ecstatic there will be a study to help guide me through my reading of "Ministry". Thanks again for all your insight and efforts!
Hi Courtney, I sure will be joining the book study. Count me in. I'm excited to now have discovered Sally Clarkson. I'm following her blog already.

I can't wait to read this book! It has been sitting on my shelf for a couple months, so it was perfect that you and Angela picked it as your summer bookclub book! I'm enlisting several of my MOPS moms to read it with me this summer too! Can't wait! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in! I can not tell you how inspiring Sally was to me at Relevant!! I can't wait to read another of her books!
ReplyDeleteSounds awesome! I have the book but have not had a chance to read it. Currently, I am reading Mission of Motherhood which has been so great. Looking forward to joining in!
ReplyDeleteI am a day late and a dollar shy as usual, but I too am in.
