This quick and easy pizza bread is original... one day I just decided to roll up my pizza without the sauce like a Stromboli and it worked! So this is not fancy - but it is quick, easy and a hit in my house.
Quick and Easy Pizza Bread:
1 can refrigerated Pizza crust dough
1+ cup of mozzarella cheese
1 small jar of pizza sauce
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2. Unroll the dough onto your cookie sheet and roll it to 1/4 inch thickness.
3. Sprinkle it with cheese and toppings (but no sauce).
5. Bake it at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until brown.
6. Cut it into 2 inch thick slices and serve the pizza sauce on the side!

ReplyDeletetoo!! thnx for a great recipe!!
That is so awesome! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI do something similar, but make them into calzones. I roll out the dough into a circular pizza pan and add cheeses (ricotta and mozzerella), pepperoni, Ragu sauce and sometimes ground turkey ON JUST ONE HALF of the dough. Then I stretch the other half over it and use a fork to seal the edge. I poke a fork in the top. And then cut it into slices. Two of them feed my crew of four.
ReplyDeleteYou always have such practical, fun ideas on your site, Courtney.
okay, I made this tonight. My kids picked some rosemary to sprinkle on top. I accidentally put some sauce inside before seeing on your post that the sauce is for dipping. Hopefully it will taste as good as it looks!

ReplyDeleteYum!! What do you have between your pan and the dough? This would have to be better than pizza rolls right??!! lol
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - that's parchment paper! I do it so it's a quick clean up! All I have to do is rinse the pan with water and put it away - quick and easy!!! That's my style!
