Mmmmm... Nothing is as refreshing as an orange julius on a hot summer day! I feed my family orange julius year around! Even in the winter - it is a part of our pizza, popcorn and movie night. My husband loves these - and maybe yours will too! My mom made this for us as kids - so here is her recipe:
Orange Julius
6oz can of frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup of water
1 cup of cold milk
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Place all of the above in a blender and blend. Then add 10 ice cubes and blend until they are tiny chips. Serve (I always serve mine in a tall glass with a straw!)
Walk with the King!
Yum - I just added your link up at Tasty Tuesday. We were thinking a like this week. :)

Courtney, I love this recipe. We have orange "Julies" on New Year's Eve every year ... a tradition since I was a little girl and my dad made them.
ReplyDeleteOh yum! I can remember as a teenager getting these at the mall... but that store went out about the time my big hair did, LOL. I'll definitely be trying this with my kids-- thanks for sharing!
