I'm a scarf girl! love it!
ReplyDeleteI like it, you are so cute on the video!
ReplyDeleteI have tried to wear a scarf but it always seem to get in my way!! I like the really thin ones, I seem to do better with those but you are right, they look so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI adore scarves!
ReplyDeleteYou are a doll! Love it. I'm not usually a scarf gal but I just might have been inspired. Walk with the King!
ReplyDeleteFun tip! That red scarf looks so good on you with your blonde hair.
ReplyDeleteI've worked for three airlines. Eastern Airlines (CAK) was my favorite because we had the BEST airline uniforms. My favorite piece was our long patterned scarf. We found so many fun and creative ways to tie it and it totally changed our look from one agent to the next.
Scarves are great fun to wear.
Blessings,
Toni
love it, and love the scarf!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at how you make $5.00 look so good!
ReplyDeleteI was at the mall a few years ago, and saw a woman tie her scarf like that. I was like, "Hey!! I can do that!" LOL
And now I do that too. I love the way it hangs and doesn't fall off or tighten around the neck. It's perfect.
P.S. You're cute.
Love it I too where my scarf both ways thanks for sharing your inspiring blog posts keep em coming as we walk with the King!
ReplyDeleteI love it, I wondered how you did the second way. I use the first way the most and am always looking for new ways to change it up. Love ya!

Oh I absolutely love this Courtney. I am not a scarf girl but a few weeks ago I bought one because I didn't want to walk around with my slit looking/ scar from Thyroid surgery on my neck at the holidays. I was going to call my preachers wife and ask her to come by to show me what to do but I don't need to now!! Thank you my friend!!
ReplyDeleteOh this is fun. I love scarfs as well. I just learned how to do that the way you did the firs time. I felt like a nut when I found out it was that easy... Hope you are well. Sorry I have not been by this week, have been sick as a dog and just not feeling well.. Have a great day!!!
ReplyDeleteCan I share a fun "twist" on this? (Literally.) My sister taught me.
ReplyDelete1. Start just like you did in the video: fold the scarf in half and drape it around your neck with the folded end on one side and the fringed ends on the other.
2. Make a loop with the folded end and put one of the fringed ends through it.
3. Twist the folded end, making a second loop, and put the second fringed end through.
4. Tug to tighten and fluff it out a little bit.
I love wearing my scarves this way because it makes for a little bit more interesting look, and it also works well for really long or really short scarves.
Thanks for the great vid!
Why is it good for a man to read mom written blogs?
ReplyDelete1.Women write with heart
2.My sheets in my closet look much better now – thank you Courtney
3. And as a man I seldom use a scarf for an accessory – but have never known how to tie one like other people seemed to be able to do – some men need this stuff.
4.At the end of your video the reminder to walk with the King? Perfect.
Thank you
Merry Christmas
I do like the look of the scarf, and the way you are wearing them are so cute, but they seem to just get in my way, lol! I found that I need to get the thinner ones so there isn't as much volume to them.
ReplyDeleteAnother cool thing about wearing a scarf is you don't have to wear a necklace!
I am also all about dressing to make may face look slimmer and I find that if I do anything that pulls the eye down, like a v-neck, or a pendant, or the scarf fixed the 1st way you showed (as long as it is pulled down a little) will help achieve that look and slim the face!
That first way is my favorite way to wear a scarf. It's so easy but it looks so fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun to be a girl! Thanks for the fun and fashion :)
ReplyDeleteHello! Thank you very much for posting this video! I make scarves and I always come across women (and men too!) that have no idea how to wear a scarf. I love showing them all the fun ways to wear them. I also love to tell people that they can be worn in summer and (as one reader posted) as a substitute for necklaces.
ReplyDeleteJust one comment though: if you can afford it, buy handmade! Not only are you supporting local crafters but you get a better quality than those that are mass produced. However you purchase your scarf though, keep on wearing them! They're fun!!!
P.S. Love your words of wisdom, Courtney! God Bless!
Pretty scarf for pretty girl:) Thanks for the fun tip!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteWell this seems to be a place for women and scarves.. Its a good video here. :)
