Exactly 2 weeks ago we celebrated my son's birthday and today we celebrate my daughter's birthday!!! My baby turns 4 today!
Alexis' middle name is Joy and this completely depicts her personality! She is a smiley, happy, bouncy, chatty, affectionate, joyful little girl. I love to tell "Joy stories". I started "Joy stories" one day when their daddy was gone on a business trip - at the time Alexis was 18 months old and Alex was 3. I found the dinner table to be quite boring without adult conversation, so I began to make up "Joy stories". The two main characters of every Joy story are "Alexander the Great Hero" and "Alexis Joy to the World". In every story Alex is a hero - rescuing someone through bravery and his trust in God and Alexis brings joy to the world by helping a needy person. My children love these stories and beg for more every time I tell one!
Today I wish my "Alexis Joy to the World" a Happy Birthday and my dream for her is that one day she would bring "Joy to the world" as she lives her life for Jesus and shares his truth with others!
Sweet Lexi - I pray everyday that you would faithfully - Walk with the King!
Sammy is loving these pics! I remember VERY clearly when she was born and your dad proudly adorned the Alexis Joy button to church. I can't believe she's already this big.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Lexi!
Your children are beautiful. I hope your precious little girl has a blessed day as she celebrates her birthday.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Lexi! Andrew said "aah, she's so cute" to every single picture. David said, "she's always happy!" Daniel said, "you've got the chatty part right!" We love you!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy celebrating her birthday! That's funny that they are 2 weeks apart - my kids are exactly 2 years and 1 week apart... February is a busy month!
ReplyDeleteI love the "Joy stories" - what a wonderful gift you're giving to your kids, inspiring them to dream big of how God will work in and through them!
Thanks guys for the Birthday wishes!
