I always come back thankful for it - but then that thankfulness wears off. I am sure that you have a fresh perspective now that you have lived in the Ukraine so long! Thank you for sacrificing being here in America to spread the gospel to the Ukranians - you are my hero!!! Our prayers are with you!Courtney (Women Living Well)https://www.blogger.com/profile/09656103671995728225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4423302133297844372.post-55069505498051145322008-11-18T00:44:00.000-05:002008-11-18T00:44:00.000-05:00This was a great post. We recently had a Ukrainian friend who was in an auto accident. It took over 2 hours for the ambulance to arrive. This is so common. If the elevator doesn't work it might be fixed the next day or the next month - there's no telling. Yesterday I got a call from a friend who said that the whole city would have power off from 8-6 pm. It didn't happen but it shows the mindset of people as they prepared for such a common thing. All this to say - America is blessed even in this time of transition. Our friends here have commented on how peaceful the transition of power between US Presidents is.
Holly
KyivAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4423302133297844372.post-16190486739941476832008-11-17T15:45:00.000-05:002008-11-17T15:45:00.000-05:00I cannot thank God enough for allowing me to be bo...I cannot thank God enough for allowing me to be born in the USA. We have no control over whether we're born in Iraq or in the USA - and by the grace of God I am an American! We need to continually thank him for this blessing!Courtney (Women Living Well)https://www.blogger.com/profile/09656103671995728225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4423302133297844372.post-25832137989063649072008-11-17T09:58:00.000-05:002008-11-17T09:58:00.000-05:00Thank you for putting this into perspective!!
